Appropriate acceptable-use and fraud controls apply to protect both the customer and the service.

Recording remains subject to the customer’s configuration, permissions and the way recording is used within the organisation.

Setup included
Standard setup is included in the price.
We do not add a routine setup fee simply for getting a normal TalkLayr system working.
Standard setup can cover the usual work involved in creating extensions, configuring normal call handling, provisioning supported devices and testing the system.
Number porting is charged separately. Unusual bespoke work, specialist integrations or particularly complex migrations may require a tailored quote.
What’s separate?

International calls
International calling is charged separately. Ask us for current rates for the destinations your business needs.
AI Receptionist
From £50 + VAT per month, per system.Add AI where it creates enough value for your business, rather than charging every extension.
Number porting
Moving existing telephone numbers is charged separately and remains subject to number and provider eligibility.
Phones and hardware
We can quote for suitable phones and devices, or help establish whether compatible existing SIP equipment can be retained.

Optional AI
Add an AI Receptionist from £50 + VAT per month, per system.
AI should be used where it solves a real business problem, not because every customer is forced to buy it.
The TalkLayr AI Receptionist can be added as an optional system-level service for businesses that want to extend how calls are answered, information is collected or customer journeys are automated.
Final AI pricing may depend on the capabilities and usage required.

Need new phones? We can quote for the hardware too.
TalkLayr is not designed to force customers to replace suitable equipment unnecessarily.
Compatible existing SIP phones may be reusable, while new desk phones, Android business phones, conference devices and other supported hardware can be quoted separately.
Compatibility depends on the manufacturer, model and required features.

The £15 + VAT extension price is the clear standard rate for straightforward TalkLayr deployments.
Larger, multi-site or more complex systems may benefit from a tailored commercial arrangement based on the actual scale, migration, resilience and integration requirements.
There is no need to decide whether your system is “large” before you contact us. Tell us roughly what you need and we can take it from there.
